How it all began.
Not every project starts with a plan. Some begin with a simple question:
How can we support people in taking their future into their own hands in the long term?
Even before the official founding of the Infinity Help Foundation, Ruth and Purna were looking for a project that perfectly embodied this idea. It quickly became clear that short-term aid alone would not create lasting change.
Together they came up with the idea of building a coffee plantation in Purna's home village of Ramche – not as a one-off support, but as a long-term source of income for the local people.
Why coffee in particular?
The region around Ramche lies at an altitude of approximately 2,000 meters above sea level and offers ideal conditions for the cultivation of high-quality Arabica coffee.
But the focus was never on the coffee itself.
The focus was on the people.
The project aims to create jobs in the long term, generate additional income, and give young people a future in their own homeland.
This is how sustainable development is created – together with the local population and adapted to the natural conditions of the region.
Together instead of dictating.
From the beginning, it was clear that this project should not be planned from the outside.
The idea was developed in collaboration with the local people. Experience, local knowledge, and the needs of the village community formed the basis of every decision. The Infinity Help Foundation does not see itself as an organization that dictates solutions. It supports people in turning their own ideas into reality and creating sustainable prospects for their future.
It is precisely this collaboration that makes the project so special.
Challenges are part of the process.
Sustainable development rarely follows a straight path. The coffee plantation also presented challenges. After the initial planting, numerous seedlings had to be replaced. Together with experts, new solutions were developed and the plantation was further expanded.
These experiences have made one thing clear:
Sustainable projects require patience, trust, and a willingness to learn from setbacks. That's why we don't believe in quick wins, but in sustainable development.
